Welcome to the website of the AVP (Association des Agences de Voyages Privées de Genève - Geneva Private Travel Management Companies Association) !

Since over 15 years, our independent travel management companies are gathered in the AVP in order to share their know-how and experience, as well as to defend their profession and clients' interest.

Thanks to regular negotiations with airlines, hotel chains, cruise lines, car rental companies or technology partners, with an airline turnover of over 100 million Swiss francs and acknowledged as fine professionals, the AVP provides highly qualified tailor-made arrangements, access to preferential rates, personalized services and latest technologies.

At the time when we can witness the failure and risks of the "low cost" system, when there are more and more frequent natural disasters, when our security is more and more endangered by various movements, when happily ecological issues are coming back as a priority, when airline fares look more and more like the stock exchange with all its complexity and variations, we are convinced that the base of success between a travel management company and its client lies in the added value of our profession, the personal relation, the capacity to anticipate and react as well as the use of excellent technologies. All this of course in the sense of a long-term basis.

By focusing often too quickly on the "(apparent) costs of the travel agency", and dismissing "the total cost of a trip", which can much higher, this means that in many instances, clients pay not only much more for their trip, but also take considerable risks for which the consequences can arise at a later stage.
